Solintal, the manufacturer of mining buckets and tools and components for the construction, energy, engineering and industry sectors, was present at the 5 th National Aggregates Congress, organised by the FDA (Aggregates Federation), in Santiago de Compostela, from the 24 th to the 26 th of October in the Congresses and Exhibitions Centre of Galicia.

The company’s stand painted a detailed picture of the company, focused mainly on its bowsers and containers for watering during aggregate operations, as well as buckets and ladles for all kinds of diggers and loaders. An international company from Madrid, Solintal displayed its wide range of manufacturing capabilities for the mining sector.

Proprietary bowsers and containers with capacities ranging between 20,000 and 180,000 litres for all kinds of dumpers and buckets and ladles for rear- and front-loading, dragline, cable and loader excavators are just part of Solintal’s varied manufacturing range.

The recently approved European regulation on crystalline silica means we have to take this carcinogenic element into account during aggregate operations. In recent months, the emission of dust containing a breathable proportion of crystalline silica has become a very high-risk element in aggregate operations, which must be carefully managed.

Therefore, the risk of tracks and stockpiles is a key consideration in aggregate operations. It is absolutely necessary to have hauling units with water containers or bowsers to mitigate against dust.
