Esco, one of the largest international manufacturers of bucket teeth and adapters, as well as tools which can be adapted to many applications, has once again placed its trust in Solintal to make two enormous buckets for Letourneau mining loaders.
The Letourneau loaders, which are the largest in the world, currently belong to the company Komatsu. The range has 4 different models. The P&H L-2350 is the largest; it weighs 266.6 t, has a power of 2,300 CV and it has been specifically designed to carry dump trucks with a loading capacity between 320 and 400 t. The previous model is the P&H L-1850, a loader for dump trucks with a loading capacity ranging between 240 and 360 t, weighing 242.6 t and with a power of 2,000 HP.
Solintal is known around the world as one of the leading bucket manufacturers, and it has once again delivered with two high-quality, well designed, and robust units made for Esco. The Letourneau 2350 bucket has a capacity of 38 m3, weighs 34,500 kg, and measures 6.6 m wide, 3.3 m tall and 4.4 m deep. The P&H L-1850 bucket has a capacity of 28 m3, weighs 25,500 kg and measures 6 m wide, 3 m tall and 4.2 m deep. Both buckets have been designed and made to work with materials with a density of 1.8 kg/m3.
